I am a scientist by training and a curious generalist by temperament. I build, write, read widely, and follow questions across disciplines.
Curiosity is the common thread.
I grew up in Colombia and now live in Madison, Wisconsin. Moving between countries, scientific disciplines, and ways of working has made me comfortable in the space between established categories.
Science taught me to sit with difficult questions, test what I think I know, and pay attention when the evidence changes the direction of the work. That same instinct follows me into writing, software, knowledge systems, and books well outside my field.
I do not see those as separate identities. This site gives them one place to accumulate: professional work, unfinished experiments, practical essays, short observations, and books that changed how I think.
